Synopsis

There's Rick Bass the writer, Robyn King the civil rights activist, and Scott Daily who also aspired to be a writer — this is the story of all three. It's also the story of a territory blanketed in snow six months a year, a remote and wild place: Yaak Valley, Montana. The encounter — like falling in love — between the three of them and that place.
